API (application programming interface) relationships.

ASP 1. Average Selling Price Refers to the average price a product is selling for in the market. This may be different than the Manufacturer’s Suggest Retail Price (MSRP).

ASP 2. Application Service Provider This business model has evolved from traditional VAR models and also from more recent Internet integrator and Web developer models. The ASP “hosts” the server in which the clients’ applications are based. Hosted applications separate the server from the clients. The server becomes the property of the ASP , not the client. The client pays for the use of the application in the same way most people pay for utilities such as electricity and gas – for usage only. As the use of the internet to conduct business has become more ubiquitous and bandwidth has become less and less of an issue, we’ve seen this model morph into today’s much more successful MSP business model.
