OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer Refers primarily to name brand system manufacturers.Vendors use this term to identify another manufacturer who will either integrate their product into a system and sell it under their own brand name OR if a vendor licenses their product to another vendor to resell under their brand name. An example is when a monitor manufacturer allows another company to sell their monitors using a their own brand.
