Other organizations often referred to as System Integrators are those companies who
integrate components into system solutions and sell under their own brand names. These
companies are also referred to as second or third‐tier OEMs, Build Your Own (BYO)
VARs, and System Builders. There are several business models for these types of solution
providers ranging from distributor‐like practices to a solution provider profile encompassing
software application development, system development and integration.
