SPA Special Pricing Authorization, also often referred to as “meet‐comp” A special price that is provided by a manufacturer to win business that is a result of a competitive situation, special volume discount, or other unique circumstances. When a solution provider is buying from a distribution partner, the manufacturer will provide a SPA number allowing the distributor to sell below their existing price.
